Gear Down and Go Big
You like to get wild on your Polaris RZR 900, but are you getting as wild as you could. Take the reins off your ride with SuperATV’s 8” GDP Portal Gear Lift. With 8 inches of extra ground clearance and a torque-boosting 45% or 60% gear reduction, you can do what you think about doing but stop out of fear, and go places nobody else can.
GDP—the Most Trusted Name in Portals
Going big isn’t risky. You’re following in the footsteps of thousands of riders that have chosen GDP before you. More riders roll on GDP portals than any other portal system. They’re out on the trail and parks every day, and with all that ride time, you can bet they’re the most trail-proven portals on the planet.
Perfect for Mud
A big lift plus a 45% gear reduction equals one mud-munchin' monster. With clearance for huge tires and tons of torque to turn them, you’ll cruise over deeper mud and push through anything. Or take it over the top with a 60% gear reduction that lets you turn the biggest tires like stock. GDP and mud are a match made in heaven.
A Gear Reduction That Protects Your Drivetrain
GDP puts the gear reduction in the hub instead of in the transmission. Because it comes after your drivetrain, it reduces stress on your axles, differential, prop shaft, and transmission. So even if you’re riding hard, you’re doing less damage than stock. That means that with GDP, you can keep the pedal down.
Unmatched Gear Material
The gears in a portal gear lift are pretty important—that’s why ours are top-of-the-line. They’re made from precision-ground 9310 alloy steel so they mate perfectly each and every time. You get quiet portals that run smooth. It’s luxury and performance.
Stronger Housings by Design
We’ve got the best housings you can get. How do we know? We’ve got more boxes than anybody else out on the trail every day getting put to the test. We have the data and the experience to make them strong by design. Whether you go with cast aluminum or USA-made billet aluminum housings, you’re getting the strongest portals you can get.
- Our housings are reinforced in all the right places
- They’re built with better oil flow and gearing forces in mind
- There are no gimmicks and no vents because vents do more harm than good—we know because we tested them
The Strongest Portal Backing Plates You Can Get
In order to have the strongest backing plates on the market, we have to use the best material possible—and we do. GDP uses an advanced steel alloy that is not used by any other competitor. It’s stronger than chromoly and at 5/16” thick with hand-welded gussets and pivot blocks, you can count on them being the strongest part of your RZR.
Advanced Gaskets and Seals
Whether you go with cast or billet, both housings use:
- Advanced gaskets with excellent oil resistance and a lower deterioration rate than Kevlar gaskets
- Rubber O-rings that completely seal the housings
- A sealed input gear and double-lipped output seal
- 100% sealing coverage throughout so you can forget about oil leaks
Bearings That Rock
If you don’t do bearings right, you won’t have quality portals. That’s why we use a double-angular contact bearing on our output shaft. It’s designed to take huge hits whether that’s from hitting jumps, bouncing over logs, or diving into mud holes. It won’t break or wear prematurely. With GDP, even the smallest detail is built for battle.
Universal Hubs and Slotted Rotors
Our precision-ground, stainless steel slotted rotors stay cool to give you the braking power you need when you need it. They come with 4/156, 4/137, 4/115, and 4/110 bolt patterns and lugs. You can use wheels from just about any side-by-side which means the used wheel market just got a lot bigger for you. We invented the tapered output shaft that our hubs attach to, which provides a more secure lock that won’t wobble or wear over time.
Reinforce Your UTV with a Frame Stiffener
Just because GDP Portals are built to push the limits, it doesn’t mean your RZR 900 is too. We highly recommend using a frame stiffener with your 8” portals so that your RZR’s frame can enjoy the ride as much as you do. Trust us, we’ve bent tons of frames. Get a frame stiffener and save your time and money.
